Privacy policy

Bottled is a companion app for Fantasy Premier League mini-leagues. This policy explains what we collect and why. Short version: we collect the minimum needed to run your league, we don't sell anything, and your league's business stays in your league.
What we collect
- Account: when you sign in with Google or Apple we receive your name and email address, used only to create and secure your account.
- Profile: the display name you choose and, if you link it, your public FPL team ID.
- League data: the FPL league you link (public data from the official FPL API — standings, points, team names), the dares your league votes on, results, and settlement records.
- Photos: proof images you choose to upload when settling a forfeit. These are visible only to members of your league.
- Push token: if you enable notifications, a device token used to tell you when a gameweek is decided and when someone pays up.
What we don't do
- No selling or sharing of personal data with third parties for marketing.
- No advertising or tracking SDKs.
- No gambling: forfeits are social stakes your league defines; Bottled never handles money.
Where data lives
Data is stored with Supabase (our backend provider) and protected by row-level security: only members of your league can read your league's records. Gameweek data comes from the official Fantasy Premier League API.
Deleting your data
Delete your account any time from Settings in the app. This permanently removes your profile, your league memberships, any videos or photos you uploaded, and your comments. Past gameweek results stay on your leagues’ records with your name detached — a result is a fact about the whole league, and removing one row would rewrite everyone else’s table.
Reports and blocks
If you report a video, comment or dare, we store what you reported, why, and that it was you — so we can review it and so the same thing isn’t reported twice by the same person. Reports are never shown to the person reported.
If you block someone, we store that you blocked them so we can hide their content from you. Blocks are private; the person blocked isn’t told.
See our community guidelines for what we remove and how.
